Local Priorities Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of) Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Please be aware there has been an increase in theft from vehicles within the ward area. Most of the thefts are occurring in the evening and involve teenage youths. The youths are going around trying car doors. You will be surprised as to how many insecure cars these youths find (hence the reason why they do it). Please make sure your vehicles are locked and you do not leave and valuables on display. Thank you
